Titan Shoreline

Nearly exactly a year ago, ESA's Huygens probe detached from its Cassini mothership and descended onto the surface of Saturn's largest moon, Titan. It is believed that Titan's organic chemistry is similar to that of the young Earth, and therefore, it may provide insight into how life began to form on Earth. The above image is a panorama of images taken during Huygens' descent, showing a shoreline with dark channels resembling rivers on Earth.
